Jason Terry: 1 year, $2.3 million (Milwaukee Bucks)

Re-signing Jason Terry basically makes life tough for backcourt guys fighting for roster spots like Gary Payton II, Bronson Koenig,  JeQuan Lewis and James Young, but it also provides the Milwaukee Bucks with an appreciated veteran and potential third string point guard in a pinch.

Will he make much of an impact on the court? Not really, given that he put up 4.1 points and 1.3 assists in 18.4 minutes per game last season.

But he also shot 42.7 percent from 3-point range and can log minutes at either guard position. For a young team on the rise, bringing back Terry’s sage presence makes sense.
