Giannis Antetokounmpo is 22 years of age and already on pace to make history. Coupled with the fact that the Milwaukee Bucks are winning at a high level again, Antetokounmpo has reemerged as a Top 15 player in 2016-17.

I wrote before the 2016-17 NBA regular season that Antetokounmpo has the potential to be the best player in the world, and he’s proving it.

Antetokounmpo is on pace to become the first player in NBA history to rank in the Top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals per game. Considering he’s nowhere near the prime of his career, it’s intriguing to imagine how great he’ll be in five seasons.

For now, he’s busy doing something that no player in NBA history has done—not even LeBron James, Magic Johnson, or Michael Jordan.

In addition to producing at an all-time level, Antetokounmpo is leading Milwaukee to intriguing success. The Bucks have won seven of their past eight games, and are 11-4 over the course of the past 15 games.

Antetokounmpo is the only player in the NBA who leads his team in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals per game. Not much else needs to be said.
