Detroit Pistons squad

Stanley Johnson, y’all.

He was a key part of the Summer League smackdown of the Knicks squad on Day 1. This is his second year in the Summer League, but he is already showing that he has put in the requisite gym time to work on his weaknesses.

Henry Ellenson showed that the Pistons weren’t wrong to draft him18th overall in the first round, scoring 12 points with eight rebounds during the Pistons’ inaugural game.

The Pistons squad has only played one game so far (the second game is Monday, July 4, against the Magic’s Blue squad), but they’re off to a good start.

With Andre Drummond in the fold for the next five years, and Reggie Jackson continuing to shine at the point guard position, the Pistons are looking like they could make a deeper run in the Eastern Conference playoffs next year.
