4. Re-Sign E’Twaun Moore

Despite selecting Denzel Valentine is the draft, there is still a question mark at shooting guard behind Jimmy Butler. The reason for this, Valentine’s knees.

If Valentine has to spend any time away from the court, Chicago are currently in such a precarious position in all their roster spots that they need insurance.

E’Twaun Moore is just that, insurance. Having signed on for a minimum contract last season he proceeded to play 59 games, even starting 22 of them. For the season he averaged 21.4 minutes, 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

His three-point field goal percentage was 45 percent on the year, although he only took 1.8 attempts per game.

As Moore is only 26, he has a great chance to prove himself with this Chicago team. He could prove himself to be a worthy back up or could be on court with Butler if Chicago play small ball.

Moore has now got five years experience in the NBA, enough time to have found his feet. With the massive changes in the Chicago roster, Moore has the chance to show the NBA that he is good enough for more than a minimum salary.
