Denver Nuggets : Draft Key In Rebuilding Process

Point Guard Help
Denver has high hopes for Emmanuel Mudiay, but they do need to look at finding someone who can play behind him and their mid-round selections would offer two good options in Vanderbilt’s Wade Baldwin and Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis.
Baldwin is an especially intriguing prospect given his 6’4″, 200-pound frame with nearly a 7-foot wingspan. He also shot better than 40 percent from deep in both of his college seasons and could be used as not only Mudiay’s backup, but as a 2 guard from time to time as well.
Ulis doesn’t offer the size Baldwin does, but he’s a true point guard. Ulis has a pass-first nature and runs the pick and roll very well. A Ulis/Nikola Jokic pick and roll could be a thing of beauty for Denver.
Ulis also brings great defensive ability and hustle to the table and would be a great pairing with Will Barton in the second unit.
