2016 NBA Playoffs: All-First Round Team
Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green is an antagonizer, quite possibly the engine that revs up the Warriors well oiled machine. The often pissed off Green took it personally when his team’s championship was slighted and equally this postseason when he took the slight that the Dubs can’t win without Stephen Curry.
For the playoffs, the do-it-all Green averaged 13.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game while defending multiple positions at a tenacious level.
In the close out Game 5, Green scored 15 points, grabbed nine boards and dished out eight assists.
Other Notable Power Forwards
Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks: Millsap came up big for the Hawks in their six-game series against the Boston Celtics. He averaged 16.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks as Atlanta advanced to face the Cavaliers. In Game 4 of the series, he scored 45 points and added 13 rebounds.
Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers: Love was finally used on the block and in the in Cleveland’s sweep of Detroit. He looked like the player who was once recognized as the league’s best power forward. Love put up 18.8 points and 12.0 rebounds in the four-game series.
