No. 6: Washington Wizards

Things are pretty bad for the Wizards right now, but they still have John Wall, Bradley Beal and Otto Porter all under contract. All three of those guys are tremendous young players, and even keeping just two of them along with some other good future acquisitions should put the Wizards in a good spot five years from now.

If Washington has a bad season they’ll probably end up with a new coach and feel like a year has been wasted, but honestly another high draft pick isn’t the worst thing that could happen to this team. There are some serious frontcourt holes, but not so serious that they can’t be filled in five seasons.

Wall, Beal and Porter are all young talents on the rise. If the Wizards keep all three of them, it’d be surprising to not see a great team in Washington in five years. Wizards fans just hope it doesn’t take that long for their team to start contending.
