23. Bernard King

Bernard King isn’t as much of a household name as he should be. He was one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, combining a relentless attack of the basket with an outstanding mid-range game.

Throw in one of the greatest post games in NBA history and King finds his way onto this list.

King’s ability to turn his back-to-the-basket attack into a jump shot is legendary. He could just as easily bully a defender as he could finish with touch over bigger opponents.

King’s shooting marks won’t blow you away, but he was an unstoppable shooter and scorer.

Injuries cut King’s career short and severely impacted the consistency with which he played. At his peak, however, he was able to put up points in as much of a hurry as any player in NBA history.

His free throw percentages may be a turn off, but King is a true marksman.
