25 Most Dominant Individual Games in NBA History
23. Elgin Baylor – 1960 Regular Season
Elgin Baylor scored what was, at the time, an NBA-record 71 points against the New York Knicks. He also tacked on 25 rebounds in the 123-108 victory. He did so on 28 made shots and 58 percent shooting for the game.
This scoring output didn’t come as too much of a surprise, as Baylor averaged a staggering 34.8 points per game that year.
Since then, only three players have scored more points in a single game.
