Brooklyn At Toronto Dec. 17

In one of the most entertaining seven game series in recent playoff memory, the Nets staved off elimination on a blocked shot by The Truth. Both teams’ rivalry with each other extends back to the mid-2000s when Vince Carter was dealt to the Nets.

Presently, the two have taken quantum leaps in the opposite directions after such a gripping playoff series. With Brooklyn losing key starters and Toronto retaining theirs, I don’t see a potential playoff series between the two for the forseeable future. Right now, the Raptors have the edge and I firmly expect Toronto to make a statement the 17th and throughout their other meetings with Brooklyn.
