Having completely remodelled his game in recent seasons, here are five potential landing spots in 2019 NBA free agency for center Brook Lopez.

The transformation of the game of Brook Lopez has been simply remarkable over the past three seasons. Having been one of the elite low-post scorers in the league for a number of years, the adjustment to becoming a high-volume bomber from long range has been incredibly eye-opening.

During his initial eight seasons in the league, Lopez attempted a grand total of 21 3-pointers. Last season alone with the Milwaukee Bucks, the 7’0″ Lopez launched 512 attempts from long range, converting at a 36.5 percent clip. In addition to new head coach Mike Budenholzer, Lopez’s ability to stretch the floor while also defending the paint was one of the keys to the Bucks rising from 44 to 60 wins, posting the best record in the league in the process.

One of the best bargains in the league last season with a $3.4 million salary, Lopez clearly outplayed his contract, thus leaving the Bucks with some difficult decisions to make. In addition to Lopez, Khris Middleton, Malcolm Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic are also free agents the Bucks must deal with this summer.

While Lopez has publicly stated his desire to remain with the Bucks given his personal success and the performance of the team, nothing is guaranteed once June 30 hits and free agency commences.

So with this in mind, here are the five potential landing spots for Lopez this offseason.
