NBA superstar Anthony Davis is still looking to be traded away from his team and the New York Knicks could be a possible destination. Here are five potential trade offers

It is no news that the New York Knicks are prepared to go big in the upcoming offseason. They currently possess the No. 3 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and enough salary cap room for not one, but two max free agent deals.

However the Knicks could quite possibly be active players in the trade market too, as they have already expressed interest in one of the NBA’s best, Anthony Davis.

Davis made it crystal clear during the 2018-19 season that he was fed up with the New Orleans Pelicans and ultimately requested to be dealt away from the team as fast as possible. This demand caused chaos amongst the NBA world, with numerous teams reaching out to the Pelicans in hopes of adding Davis to their respective rosters.

Since the Pelicans still haven’t found a suitor for the Brow, why shouldn’t the Knicks knock on their door with their very own trade proposal? Davis is a once-in-a-generation type of talent and he has expressed his demand to play for a big market team. Enter New York.

Even though the Pelicans don’t appear to be that high on Kevin Knox, the New York Knicks certainly have the cards to deal and could make them an offer they can’t refuse (in a non-gangster type of way, of course).

The Knicks will have to wait until they can renounce a few players’ rights to be able to absorb AD’s salary into cap space, but here are three trade proposals they could approach the Pelicans with, in the hopes of adding arguably a top-5 player in the world to their squad.
