The Memphis Grizzlies have a lot of work to do in the offseason after turning in their worst performance since the 2007-08 season.

The Memphis Grizzlies didn’t have the most productive season in 2017-18 and it showed in the final results. They finished with a 22-60 record, the second-worst record in the NBA next to the Phoenix Suns.

By season’s end, the Memphis front office had fired head coach David Fizdale. In fact, Fizdale was fired 19 games into the regular season. The team suffered because of it, going through a stretch where it lost 19 games in a row at one point. The Grizzlies went 0-10 in the month of February and 1-5 to close out the final month of the season.

It was a season to forget for the Memphis Grizzlies as they finished 29th in the league in points per game (99.3) and rebounds per game (40.5). They put together a number of streaks, but they were of the losing variety.

Mike Conley played in just 12 total games before being sidelined with a heel injury that required season-ending surgery. Missing Conley took all the wind out of their sails on offense and it was a trickle-down effect from there.  Here’s a look at the five biggest disappointments from 2017-18 for the Memphis Grizzlies.
