The Orlando Magic have cautious reason for optimism next season, which makes any of the below predictions a small possibility.

Of all of the teams doing business this offseason, the Orlando Magic have arguably been the most quiet of all.

Apart from a brief moment there where it looked like they’d get in the same room as Andre Iguodala, Shelvin Mack has been the only notable addition in free agency.

All is not lost however, as this team is exactly where it needs to be. With a front office still in the infancy of their time in charge, now is a time to take stock of what this team already has.

Indeed, big decisions will have to be made regarding the futures of both Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon sooner rather than later too. The team will also need to do their best to integrate lottery pick Jonathan Isaac, while settling on a starting center once and for all as well.

With all of that in mind, let’s examine three bold, but not impossible, predictions for this team in the 2017-18 season.
