With the Los Angeles Clippers acquiring Danilo Gallinari in a three-team sign-and-trade with the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets, it’s time for some NBA Trade Grades.

Even after losing Chris Paul to a trade prompted by his imminent free agency departure, the Los Angeles Clippers were sure to make another significant, possibly ill-fated move after re-signing Blake Griffin to a five-year max contract.

In a deal that will become official on Friday, the Clippers are doing exactly that.

As first reported by Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Lob City will be sending Jamal Crawford, Diamond Stone and a 2018 first round draft pick (top three-protected, via the Houston Rockets) to the Atlanta Hawks in a sign-and-trade for Danilo Gallinari.

The Denver Nuggets will receive a 2019 second round pick from the Hawks (via the Washington Wizards) for their part in the deal.

In a complicated three-team sign-and-trade, it’s time for some NBA Trade Grades to sort out how each team did.
