Kevin Durant has scored 20 or more points in 70 consecutive games, the second-longest streak since the merger with the ABA in 1976. The scoring production makes Durant a perfect option for FanDuel NBA leagues.

Guarantees are non-existent in FanDuel NBA play, aside from a virtual lock in scoring production from Kevin Durant.

For each of the past 70 regular season games, Durant has scored 20 or more points each night.

During the 70-game stretch, Durant has poured in more than 2,000 points, averaging 29.4 points per game during the span.

Only Michael Jordan‘s stretch of 72 consecutive games has outlasted Durant’s binge since the merger with the ABA in 1976.

More from Fantasy Basketball

The last time Durant has failed to score at least 20 points during a game came 362 days ago, as he was limited to 14 points during a game against the Wizards on Nov. 10, 2015.

Durant was forced to leave the contest early after suffering a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the contest.

Even though he played less than 17 minutes, Durant still managed to tally 14 points and 10 rebounds before exiting with an injury that forced him to miss six straight games.

The switch to a Golden State uniform hasn’t deterred Durant from scoring, instead he has become even more efficient.

Durant is averaging 30 points per game on 59.3 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent shooting from 3-point range, both are the highest averages of his career.

The only players with a scoring streak of 20 or more points longer than Jordan’s 72 games are two by Wilt Chamberlain (126 games and 92 games) and Oscar Robertson (79 games).

With Durant seamlessly blending in with the Warriors, he could surpass Jordan as soon as Thursday night in Denver.

To move within a game of Jordan, Durant is going against New Orleans, a team he has averaged 27.2 points per game on 51.8 percent shooting and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range in 28 career appearances.

FanDuel NBA leagues have no guarantees for production, but with Durant converting from everywhere on the court, 82.1 percent at the rim and 64.3 percent shooting on attempts between 16-feet away from the rim and the 3-point line, he is as close to a lock that exists.
