The Chicago Bulls are hoping to bounce back from what proved to be a disappointing 2015-16 campaign. And in order for the team to take steps toward accomplishing this task, the younger players will need to show they can step up and play larger roles.

Enter the NBA Summer League tournament.

Although the 10-day competition cannot accurately predict how a player will perform during the upcoming season, it does provide the coaches and fan base a glimpse of what the players are capable of, as well as their tendencies.

During the Bulls’ run to the Summer League championship, we’ve learned a few things about some of the players who will be vying for a spot in the rotation next season. That being said, here are most notable takeaways from the tournament.
