The Los Angeles Lakers farewell Kobe season has been completed and with the exception of all the gifts Kobe Bryant got, all the Lakers got was the second pick in the upcoming draft. Here are five roster moves they need to make.

The Los Angeles Lakers just completed their worst season. Ever. Their 17-65 record beat the 19-53 mark set way back in the 1957- 8 season. They also said farewell to one of their greatest players in Kobe Bryant.

With the signing of Brandon Ingram, hopefully the torch has been passed on to the next franchise cornerstone.

While Ingram fills the Lakers need at small forward, the Lakers drafted well with their second pick, getting Ivica Zubac, the 7-foot-0 center from Croatia who may be a project player but will get some minutes at center for the Lakers.

The Lakers have an exciting young core of players, Julius Randle, D’Angelo Russell, Larry Nance Jnr, Jordan Clarkson and Anthony Brown. Add Ingram and Zubac and the Lakers have a bright future.

This free agency period the Lakers have huge cap room and the chance to go after some high level free agents. If they select the right players, expect the Lakes to come back into relevance in a big way this year.

The Lakers mainly need experience, three point shooting and a defensive presence at center.

With new coach Luke Walton on board, the Lakers are a chance of doing anything this coming year. Here are five roster moves they need to make.
