With so many free agency decisions to make this summer, where do the Golden State Warriors go from here to avenge a 73-win season that ended in a Finals collapse?

Coming off a 73-win season, it’s no surprise that the Golden State Warriors are the opening favorites to win the 2016-17 NBA title — even if they just became the first team in Finals history to lose the title after building up a 3-1 series lead.

With another year left on Stephen Curry‘s contract, plus Klay Thompson and Draymond Green locked in for the next 3-4 years, the Dubs can build around their Big Three and remain a constant threat to win the title for years to come.

But even though the concept of a 73-win team being motivated by the sting of this Finals defeat is a scary thought for the 2016-17 NBA season, the Warriors could look quite a bit different as early as next year.

With a bevy of restricted and unrestricted free agents to worry about this summer, the Dubs’ supporting cast may never be the same. Nothing lasts forever, and after falling short of a championship, the auxiliary players may prefer a well-deserved pay raise over taking a pay cut to stick around.

Are the Warriors heading for big offseason changes? Would they be better off trusting the larger sample size and running it back for another shot at a title? Coming off the greatest collapse in NBA Finals history, here’s a look at where the Golden State Warriors might go from here.
