In the vast 69-year history of the NBA, few teams have been as dominant as the Golden State Warriors were in 2015-16. The Warriors set records that may never be broken, with both the team and the individual players stepping up in unfathomable ways.

While everyone knows the basics of what made this season so special, it’s easy to overlook the smaller details of how special it was.

The Warriors’ resident superstar provided one of the greatest individual seasons in NBA history. As a scorer, no player has ever combined production and efficiency quite like said player was able to.

That only begins to scratch the surface of what made the Warriors’ season so sensational.

As a team, Golden State was dominant in every sense of the word. There was no confining the Warriors’ greatness to any one area, as Steve Kerr‘s crew consistently overwhelmed opponents across the board.

The question is, how did Golden State achieve what was the greatest regular season in NBA history?
