In a point guard driven league, there’s a high probability that floor generals will be valued higher than they’re projected to be in the 2016 NBA Draft. No one truly knows how the annual selection process will pan out, but it is flush with quality playmakers and capable facilitators.

The question is, who are the best playmakers on the board?

In some instances, it’s a point guard who can create for his teammates in unfathomably impressive ways. In others, it’s a player from another position who uses their size as an invaluable tool.

All five players on this list do it somewhat differently, but they all create results that one can’t help but be impressed by.

In order to determine the No. 1 playmaker in the 2016 NBA Draft, one must go beyond the numbers. The statistics are always valuable, but they aren’t the end-all, be-all in this all-encompassing discussion.

The best playmaker in this draft class is living proof of it.
