After squandering their opportunity to close out the 2016 NBA Finals at home, the Golden State Warriors are faced with a dangerous proposition in Game 6: Win a brutal road game to avenge their Game 5 home loss and capture back-to-back championships, or take this series back to Oracle Arena for a do-or-die Game 7 where anything can happen.

Though the series is shifting back to Cleveland, the Warriors have plenty of reasons to feel good about their current position, aside from their obvious 3-2 advantage.

No team in NBA history has ever won the Finals after falling behind 3-1 like the Cleveland Cavaliers have already done. The Warriors are 14-1 this year in games following losses. Draymond Green, the essential defensive cog that was missing in Game 5, will return with plenty of motivation after letting his teammates down with that one-game suspension.

But the Cavs have found their footing somewhat in this series as well, staving off elimination behind a combined 82 points from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Green’s return will bolster the defense, but giving two superstar players that kind of confidence is somewhat unnerving now that they’ll be back at home.

If the Cavs win Game 6 to hand the Dubs just their second losing streak of the entire 2015-16 campaign, you can be guaranteed the narrative will change heading into Game 7. Here’s a look at what the Warriors must do to keep their cool as the better team and close out the series in Game 6.
