The 2016 NBA Draft is flush with explosive athletes who can play above the rim. Their appeal is endless, with a projected combination of elite defensive potential and limitless upside on the offensive end of the floor.

No player better embodies that hype than Washington Huskies power forward Marquese Chriss.

Chriss is one of the most tantalizing athletes in the 2016 NBA Draft. He’s an effortlessly explosive leaper with guard-like quickness and an uncanny ability to run the floor like a gazelle at 6’10”.

Chriss is also a competent 3-point shooter, which has many asking an important question: just how good can Chriss become?

Chriss finished his freshman season with averages of 13.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 3-point field goal made per game. He posted a slash line of .530/.350/.682, and posted 46 points and 15 rebounds between his final two games.

Let’s get to the bottom of how his game will translate to the next level.
