South of an NBA championship and an MVP award, there aren’t many accolades more significant in basketball than making an All-NBA team. Such a distinction is reserved for the league’s elite, with voters honoring only the best of the best.

To make one of those three teams can both solidify one’s place in the present day, and improve one’s standing on the all-time spectrum.

All-NBA selections are often weighed as one of the true standards for making the Hall of Fame. It isn’t necessarily the deciding factor, but those who make the All-NBA teams their home are often taken care of in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Thus, Thursday, May 26 proved to be a day of historic proportions when the 2015-16 All-NBA Teams were revealed.

Surprising or otherwise, these selections are set in stone.

For some players, making the All-NBA team helped improve what was already an all-time resume. For others, it was an opportunity to inform the masses of just how significant they’ve become on the current scene.

The question is, how have the latest batch of All-NBA selections reshaped NBA history?
