These last few days have been ones Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers fans would surely like to forget. As it turns out both teams seem to be at a big disadvantage without their two best players.

Stephen Curry has been sidelined with a knee sprain he suffered in Game 4 of the first-round series against the Houston Rockets. His return is estimated to be about two weeks, according to ESPN.com. It seems his team will have to do their best to find their way without him.

Chris Paul also suffered a cruel fate late in the third quarter of Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers as he broke his hand.  His injury required surgery and ultimately made him unavailable for the rest of the playoffs, according to Sports Illustrated. To make matters worse Blake Griffin also re-injured his quad and will also be out the remainder of the playoffs.

Although Griffin’s injury was a blow to the team, they managed to hang strong with Paul leading the way during the regular season. Now with him gone there is no telling how they will fare without their leader.

To say both teams are climbing and uphill battle to chase their title dreams would be an understatement. However, one question still lingers–who is more valuable to their team’s success? Who really is the driving force to their team going all the way?
