Nothing in life is certain except death, taxes, and Stephen Curry winning NBA MVP in 2015-16. The reigning and defending MVP has distanced himself from the competition, all but assuring that he’ll make it two in a row at season’s end.

That doesn’t mean Curry is the only player having a season to remember.

The 2015-16 NBA season is a true changing of the guard. The aging veterans who were ruling the Association well beyond their prime are beginning to lose their war with father time, and the changes facilitated by pioneers of yesteryear are coming into effect.

Nostalgia remains, but none of the Top 20 players in the NBA in 2015-16 are older than 31 years old. The question is, who are the stars of the modern Association?
