In this week’s Hard Screens Podcast, Colby Giacubeno and Shane Young dissect numerous topics around the association.

Who says you need to prepare topics for a podcast? Shane Young and I decided to let the topics come to us as we started out the show by covering the Boston Celtics, who should the most dangerous team in the Eastern Conference Playoffs not named the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Also, who could be considered their best player? Many have made the argument for Jae Crowder and even Avery Bradley, but what about their All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas? The Celtics were expected to make a move before the trade deadline, but didn’t pull the trigger on a deal. If they were able to make the deal that has been rumored, would they be favorites over Cleveland? Shane and I discuss.

We spend a good amount of time worshipping the maturation of Portland’s Damian Lillard and how his leadership has been on the forefront during his impressive season thus far. If he’s such a good leader, how come LaMarcus Aldridge left? Did he feel that the franchise was being handed over to Lillard prematurely?

After being bought out by the Houston Rockets, Ty Lawson has agreed to a deal with the Indiana Pacers. How much of a help will he be? Can he give the Pacers a better chance of advancing far in the playoffs or will he continue his extremely disappointing season?

Finally, we discuss the controversial comments that historic players have gone on the record about Stephen Curry and the NBA in general. I feel a sense of bitterness from these players and quite honestly some ignorance for not giving Curry the credit that he deserves.
