The race for MVP might be over. If anyone can, which NBA star could conceivably catch Stephen Curry?

The 2015-16 regular season is shaping up to be one of the most historic in NBA history. Two teams have yet to lose 10 games, thus placing them within somewhat realistic reach of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ legendary record of 72-10.

The one thing that isn’t quite as glorious and competitive is the race for NBA MVP, as one player is having a season comparable to Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan.

One player has held a tight grip on the MVP trophy for the better part of 2015-16, and his refusal to slow down has only strengthened that case. In the process, a countless number of players have put together extraordinary seasons that have gone unnoticed.

The question is, who, if anyone, can catch the frontrunner for MVP?
