Monday’s NBA schedule did not disappoint, and Tuesday follows that with an eight-game slate. Five contests will feature intra-conference battles and three will be out-of-conference contests. Four teams will be on a back-to-back.

The clash between the San Antonio Spurs (38-7) and the Golden State Warriors (41-4) proved that the Warriors thrive on their home court. They extended their winning streak at Oracle Arena to 39 games. Reigning MVP Stephen Curry scored 37 points as the game’s high man.

However, the night really belonged to several individual players. DeMarcus Cousins continued his great play by recording his 11th-straight double-double. He did so by scoring 56 points and turning in an 81.5-fantasy point performance. James Harden did his best to keep pace with 35 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

He fell two assists short of having his third triple-double in four games, but did churn out 66.75 fantasy points.

Tuesday’s action may not have the same amount of performances, but could still get some very big scores.

More from Hoops Habit

The Los Angeles Clippers (28-16) travel east to take on the Indiana Pacers (23-21). The over/under is set at 208.5 and the teams are both in the top 10 in scoring, combining to score 207.3 points per game. The Pacers won the previous meeting 103-91.

After suffering an overtime loss on Monday, the Sacramento Kings (20-24) head north to take on the Portland Trail Blazers (20-26). The over/under is set at 214.0 with the teams combining to score 207.4 points per game. Portland is favored by five points, but expect the Kings to play it tight the whole game.

There’s a showdown at Madison Square Garden between the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder (33-13) and the host New York Knicks (22-24). There isn’t a line on the game, according to ESPN.com, but the two teams combine to score 207.6 points per game. The Thunder lost the previous battle 93-90.

Let’s get to Tuesday’s best picks.
