There are nine teams that will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back on Wednesday, which should make for some tired legs. Nine of the 10 games are intra-conference games.

The Miami Heat (22-16) visit the Los Angeles Clippers (25-13) at the Staples Center for the only cross-conference meeting of the night. The Clippers are fourth offensively in scoring, averaging 103.9 points per game. It should be a defensive battle, however. The Heat rank third in total defense, averaging 95.2 opponent’s points per game.

The Clippers are 12th, allowing 100.3 points per game.

A Western Conference matchup between the Dallas Mavericks (22-16) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (27-12). Both teams are coming off of a back-to-back, which means tired legs may not translate to the best defense or offense.

The Thunder are second in points per game, averaging 108.9 points per game. The Mavericks are 13th scoring 101.5 points per game. There’s no telling how either team will play off the second night of a back-to-back, but the Thunder are more athletic and should still be able to score at a high rate.

The Indiana Pacers (22-16) visit the Boston Celtics (19-19), two more teams that are playing on the second night of a back-to-back. The Pacers are 11th in scoring with 101.9 points per game and the Celtics are ninth, averaging 102.3 points per game.

Though each team has to travel to Boston, they should have another strong offensive showing, after combining for 230 points during their respective games on Wednesday night.

With a full slate of games, the best bargains and players to sit may be tougher to come by. Alas, there are great top plays and the potential for some good bargains, which is not what the NFL gave the Oakland Raiders, according to NFL.com.
