Two NBA coaches have already been fired this season, and four more that are on the hot seat are featured in this issue of Ti’s Four-Point Play.

On Sunday morning, the Brooklyn Nets dismissed Lionel Hollins. Hollins joins former Houston Rockets head coach Kevin McHale as the two NBA coaches fired already in the 2015-16 NBA season. Although it feels awfully early for two coaches to get dismissed, those two might not be the only ones in that group for too long.

This week’s issue of Ti’s Four-Point Play is concerned with four other current NBA coaches who all find themselves on the hot seat at this point in the season. There are probably more than four jobs at stake, but some NBA teams are in even more dire straits than others.

As far as near misses go, before the Los Angeles Clippers became the hottest team in the NBA Doc Rivers might’ve found his way on this list. The Clippers were criminally underpreforming, and considering he makes all personnel moves that comes straight back to Doc. But he managed to turn the team around, and is clearly safe for now.

The Houston Rockets might manage to get a second coach fired this season, but since he’s so fresh to the job J.B. Bickerstaff was left off as well. It felt mean to pick on a rookie/interim like that.

The four coaches are going to be organized in order of most to least likely to last the season, meaning the one listed first might be safe and the one listed last probably won’t make it through the All-Star Break.
