As the new year is upon us, the NBA season is well under way and teams are beginning to take shape. There are two ways teams can go once the New Year hits. It gives them a reason to believe that they have a fresh start to turn their season around if they were off to a rough start.

Not all teams will have success as the season grows on. Injuries have started to take place as it does every season, and those are instances that could make or break a team.

This season is no different. Although there have been a handful of teams that have gotten off to surprising starts, dealing with injuries to stars and role players can bring their early season momentum to a halt.
