Who’s trending up and who’s trending down? Learn what to watch out for with this week’s NBA Stock Exchange.

Welcome to the very first edition of the NBA Stock Exchange, HoopsHabit’s newest regular column!

Every Friday, I’ll be here to take you on a trip around the league where we try to get to grips with some of the league’s most important, or in many cases, most surprising trends.

Should you buy, sell, or hold your favorite NBA stock? From the smallest intricacies in an individual player’s games to the strategies employed by coaches and their teams, I’ll put it all under the microscope to decide what’s worth believing in, and what simply isn’t going to work out.

More from Hoops Habit

This week I’m convinced by one of the league’s smartest veterans, an elite rim protector, a team nurturing their talent the right way, a team finding their identity, and another team who is maximizing its opportunities.

I’ll be reserving judgment on one of the East’s fastest starters, as well as the lineups of one of its slowest teams out of the block too.

Then finally, I’ll be selling the early returns on one of the league’s declining offenses, the fit of a notable summer mover, and the need for one of the summer’s big re-signings.

So, without further ado, let’s get down to it!
