It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally back. Utah Jazz basketball is finally back for us to get excited about.

The Jazz played against the Los Angeles Lakers in their opening game of the preseason in Hawaii and they demolished the Lakers, winning the contest 90-71.

What was most impressive was the way that Derrick Favors played. Favors had a few moments where he looked like he was unguardable as he was running the floor and finishing in the paint. Not to mention the way that Favors is still continuing to show that he’s got a low post game that will command opponents’ attention all season long.

What was also good to see was the way that Trey Burke performed. He had some moments where you were left scratching your head, but overall he played well. Since the Jazz are back, here are five things you should look for in the preseason that they need to improve on if they want to start the regular season strong.
