Every other year, it seems as if there’s an NBA Finals that doesn’t live up to the hype.

Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James in 2012 was a five-game rampage, after Oklahoma City got their lone win in Game 1.  Then, in 2013, we had one of the top three series in league history with San Antonio blowing a 3-2 lead and losing in a road Game 7.

The following year, we had another five-game destruction, this time with LeBron feeling the pain.

If there’s one thing you can clearly say about the 2015 NBA Finals, it’s that we’re not being disappointed by any stretch of the imagination.  The MVP vs. a legendary Goliath is the background of this heated battle, with Golden State trying to get their MVP rolling before it’s too late.

Stephen Curry has struggled mightily through the first 106 minutes of the Finals, while LeBron has played well enough on both ends of the floor to give his team a chance in both games.

As we sit at a 1-1 split heading into Game 3, I thought it would be a fantastic time to re-visit the HoopsHabit Podcast.

Today, we’re joined by HoopsHabit scribe, Ti Windisch for a 30-minute discussion on the current state of the Finals. Windisch covers the Atlanta Hawks for the site, and he’s also a proficient Milwaukee Bucks writer for BehindTheBucksPass.com. You can follow Ti on Twitter, and engage in debates as you please.
