The regular season ends in one week, and the race for the final playoff spots is getting hotter. Teams that have already qualified are already looking to preserve the health of their stars, preferring to rest them or limiting their minutes in an attempt to ensure that they enter the playoffs with a clean bill of health.

However, for those that haven’t cemented a playoff berth, they do not have the luxury of doing so. As a result, could we see players on lesser teams climb the rankings simply due to having more playing time?
