Which team from each NBA conference are currently the top sleepers with the playoffs approaching quickly?

The NBA Playoffs approach with the first game set to tip-off on Saturday, April 18th. That date isn’t too far away, and there are still some heated playoff races going on in both conferences.

More from NBA

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Brooklyn Nets are currently in the eighth seeds for each conference, but that doesn’t mean that they will finish up that way. Both the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics are hot on the Nets’ heels in the Eastern Conference, while the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns are still in play in the Western Conference.

That being said, there are a few teams in particular that have already proved themselves to be the front-runners to win a championship.

Those teams are the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. Other teams have also separated themselves from the pack as the second-tier of contenders, but there is a third tier that are considered “sleepers” to make a run at the title.

It isn’t very often that one of the “sleepers” comes out of a conference and has a chance to win a championship, but there is one team in each conference that should be watched this postseason. They are both very talented and both have the perfect type of skill and player mixture to play their best basketball in a seven-game series.

Which two teams from each conference fills that sleeper role with the season in its final stages?
