With the All-Star break approaching it’s awesome to see the way that most of the rookies in the 2014 NBA draft class have finished strong. These rookies weren’t holding back with their games and were playing aggressive heading into the midseason showcase.

The Rookie of the Year award race has heated up so much in the last two weeks. Even though the Minnesota Timberwovles have the runaway favorite in Andrew Wiggins, there are some other rookies within the draft class that are playing well.

More from NBA Awards Watch

One of those is the Los Angeles Lakers point guard, Jordan Clarkson. The rookie from Missouri looks like he should have been the starting from opening night. Clarkson has looked very impressive in the playing time that he’s gotten.

In addition to Clarkson playing well, the person who a lot of people aren’t noticing is Nerlens Noel. The Philadelphia 76ers rookie center is close to averaging a double-double, and that’s amazing because last year he wasn’t able to walk straight, let alone play basketball.

On another note: Shout out to all of the rookies in our rankings that we’re going to see during All-Star weekend. To every rookie that’s not participating this year, don’t worry there’s more time for you than against you. Strive for the Sunday event, and get even better.

With that being said let’s begin our rankings.
