We look at the NBA‘s winners and losers from the first quarter of 2014-15

With the 2014-15 NBA season just passing the quarter mark, we’re going to take a look at the league as a whole to separate the winners from the losers. We’ve had our share of disappointments (injuries), surprises (the Kings) and things that have turned out exactly how we expected (76ers).

As we turn the corner, the injuries are starting to get better, with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant back in action. Paul George is still many months away from coming back, but at least he’s out there taking jumpers and will be back in form by the time next season rolls around.

As far as the 76ers are concerned, well…it is what it is. If anything, we could call them winners. They wanted to be the worst team in the league and through a very carefully thought out and well executed plan, they’re freaking terrible. If only they weren’t being challenged by those dastardly Pistons! More on that later. Let’s get to our first winner!
