The Los Angeles Clippers have made numerous efforts to look like a normal NBA franchise — whatever that is. They’ve upgraded their coach, ownership, certain positions on the roster and have taken some pride on their home court by covering the Lakers banners.

There’s new days in Los Angeles and new beginnings deserve an equally new attitude, the Clippers are one of a handful of teams that haven’t retired any jerseys. It’s not as if none of their players deserve any special recognition.

Suffering through the Sterling era of ownership, self taping themselves and dealing with the numerous sub-par standards suggests the opposite.

If and when the Clippers begin to pay homage to their historically great players, they should seek to retire the following jerseys:
