Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant will make his season debut on Tuesday night vs. the New Orleans Pelicans.

Kevin Durant has missed the entire season up to this point in the season with a foot injury, but is ready to make his comeback on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. Oklahoma City is currently sitting at 5-12, and they are desperately needing to get going on a long winning streak to get back into playoff contention in a very tough Western Conference.

Needless to say, this is huge news for the Thunder as well as any true NBA fan. Hopefully Durant is 100 percent completely healed from his injury, and doesn’t end up re-aggravating it at any point this season. It will be the first time this season that the Thunder will have their two superstars on the court at the same time, and it will be interesting to see how he looks.

Last season with the Thunder, Durant ended up averaging 32.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. He shot 50.3 percent from the floor overall and 39.1 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and also knocked down 87.3 percent from the foul line.

This is huge news for the Thunder, and it makes things even more intriguing in the West. The Thunder will have to finish the season very strong in order to have a chance at making the playoffs, but they have the talent and potential to rack up quite a few wins to make up for the early season injury struggles.

All of that being said, makes sure to tune in this evening to see Durant get back on the court for the first time this season. He will be out to prove a point, and playing 30 minutes will give him plenty of time to make that point. Oklahoma City is officially back on the map with both Westbrook and Durant on the court together.
