Boy, oh boy, has this week of rookie rankings been interesting. We’ve seen our fair share of Kanye West dropouts, including the Chicago Bulls rookie Doug McDermott. Sorry, McBuckets, until Coach Tom Thibodeau lets you play more minutes we can’t include you.

It’s OK though, I have a feeling soon enough you’ll get called to play and you’ll make a huge impact that won’t let you ever get bench splinters again.

This week we also saw two rookie point guards, Elfrid Payton and Zach LaVine, start to regress. It’s crazy how good a rookie can look one week and bomb the next, but that’s the life of rookies. Speaking of rookie life, it sucks we had two more injuries this week, what a bummer.

Payton’s teammate, Aaron Gordon, and New York Knicks rookie Cleanthony Early are both going to miss significant time in their rookie season thanks to injury. How about one week without any injuries, fellas?

On a brighter note Andrew Wiggins is coming along quite nice. We keep seeing flashes of greatness occur often. They aren’t going to remain flashes for too much longer, soon enough they’ll become routine. Did I mention how Jabari Parker is starting to get aggresive offensively? I like!

With all that being said, guess who’s at the No. 1 spot.

Let us begin week four.
