This week for our Rookie of the Year rankings has been interesting to say the least. This class has been slowly developing on the offensive end. With only a few games under their belts the 2014 NBA Draft class is starting to impact the scoring column as well.

It’s exciting to see these rookies start to impact the game with their scoring since they’ve made their impacts quietly in the year.

Also, here’s another thought. What’s up with these injuries? First we had my favorite rookie, Julius Randle, exit stage left for the season, and now we have two more rookies who caught the injury bug, Nerlens Noel and Marcus Smart. These are two rookies that each started to hit their stride.

Thankfully neither of their injuries aren’t severe and we will see them again soon.

With that being said this week we have a bunch of newcomers who have made significant impacts. Welcome Zach LaVine everybody. Something tells me he’ll be on this list for a while like K.J. McDaniels.
