Which ten NBA players are currently leading the way to win the Defensive Player of the Year award?

There are plenty of NBA stories to keep an eye on this season, and the second week of regular season games are halfway through. Plenty of players have put their names forward into the Defensive Player of the Year award, and it is a very crowded race at this point in time.

It’s going to be a very fun season to keep an eye on the rankings for the best defensive player in the NBA, and there will be plenty of changes each and every week. There are a few players who are definitely head and shoulders above the rest. That being said, the award is wide open and there are plenty of players that can break out and take the honors home.

Needless to say, it will be a very intriguing season to watch the award races with all of the talent across the league. There are ten players in particular that have jumped out to the early lead in the Defensive Player of the Year race.
