It’s Tuesday, October 28, which means just one thing: the 2014-15 NBA regular season has finally arrived.

On the first day of the season, six teams will take part in three explosive games. Five Western Conference teams will be in action, including the defending NBA champions, with an Eastern Conference squad with upside rounding out the clubs involved.

At 8:00 p.m. ET, the New Orleans Pelicans will host the Orlando Magic and the Dallas Mavericks will travel to play the San Antonio Spurs in a rematch from the 2014 NBA Playoffs.

The late game of the evening will featured the Houston Rockets going toe-to-toe with the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.

Some of the biggest names in basketball will be in action. Players with everything to gain and even more to lose will take the court for the first time all season.

The question is, which players do you need to keep your eye on during the NBA’s opening night of action?
