The Orlando Magic are in the middle of a rebuilding process, but are very excited with the team that they will be putting on the court this year. They are looking forward to seeing second-year guard Victor Oladipo‘s progress from last season, and they believe that rookie point guard Elfrid Payton will compliment him well.

Orlando also has talented young big man Nikola Vucevic to go along with other talented young players like Maurice Harkless, Tobias Harris, and Aaron Gordon.

Orlando isn’t expected to compete for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference this season, but they will be a difficult team to beat. They play an up-tempo type of game, and that is always something that can catch better teams by surprise.

The Magic also brought in some veteran talent to help balance out the youth of the roster, and are excited about how Channing Frye, Luke Ridnour, and Evan Fournier will fit with their current rebuilding process.

All of that being said, they aren’t trying to force their way into playoff contention anytime soon. They know that they are still at least two years away from making a serious run at the playoffs, and are focused on developing their young talent for the time being.

Bringing in veteran pieces like Frye and Ridnour will help the locker room level out through tough times, and they can also give advice to the young players and help them grow.

What five bold predictions can be made about the 2014-15 Magic?
