Reggie Moore, Angola

Position: Power Forward

Age: 33

Professional Team: Primeiro de Agosto, BAI Basket, Angola

Angola isn’t exactly the definition of stacked. It’s a team that’s achieved an incredible feat by simply earning a spot at the 2014 FIBA World Cup.

If there’s any one player who will stand out, it’s Reggie Moore.

Moore went undrafted in 2003, but an absence of an NBA career hasn’t hindered his basketball success. He’s played all over the world and has received individual honors in many countries, most notably leading the BAI in scoring in 2009-10.

As an American-born Angolan citizen, his status alone is noteworthy. He’s only the second foreign-born player to ever represent Angola in professional basketball.

Angola isn’t a contender, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fun to watch.
