As the San Antonio Spurs vie for a third trip to the NBA Finals this year, San Antonio has many obstacles standing in their way. Often the case, one of the biggest hurdles to the Spurs winning the championship is being healthy.

In a loaded Western Conference, San Antonio, who usually rests their key players throughout the year, aims at getting one of the top four seeds to have home-court advantage through the first round.

The Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder are a few of the other West contenders and will definitely have a say in those matters.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Conference is much improved over the past year and unlike 2014 should give the Western Conference finalist all it can ask for. The Indiana Pacers are one of the only East teams to have not improved their roster during the offseason, so who do the Spurs least want to see in the NBA Finals should they make it that far?

These three squads ahead are the ones who I feel have the best chance at derailing San Antonio from repeating.
