Oct. 28 – at San Antonio Spurs (Rematch Time)

We’ve discussed this ad nauseum by now, but the season opener is going to be epic.

The Mavs and Spurs re-new their classic seven-game series in the playoffs back in April, and Dallas begins the new season where last season ended. The Spurs will receive their championship rings and raise their fifth banner to the rafters of AT&T Center as their in-state rivals look on.

Tyson Chandler also makes his Mavs return as the man in the middle, and Dallas fans will get their first regular season look at Chandler Parsons playing with Monta Ellis and Dirk Nowitzki.

Also, it’d be nice to know who the starting point guard is by this time.
