After a solid 2013-14 campaign, the Washington Wizards looked to continue their path towards becoming a legit contender this offseason. With a nice core of a very good backcourt in John Wall and Bradley Beal, along with two solid bigs in Marcin Gortat and Nene, the Wizards added a few pieces to help them take the next step towards contention.

The Wizards hope the additions of Paul Pierce, DeJuan Blair, and Kris Humphries will add depth and experience to the team, a recurring theme the Wizards stuck with this offseason. Washington’s bench really struggled at times last season, but the addition of a former star and two solid role players will improve the bench play in 2014-15.
